A RELIGIOUS guru embroiled in a sex scandal has admitted to sleeping with more than 20 women, including a Tamil porn star, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Those who had sex with Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda (pic), 32, included his female disciples, some of whom were from Singapore.
The scandal has erupted following the telecast of video footage by a television channel in India showing him in a compromising position with a Tamil actress.
Nithyananda claimed that he was blackmailed for RM16mil by a person who claimed to have possession of the sex video recording and threatened to release it to the media.
After several rounds of negotiation, a disciple had paid RM6.4mil on Nithyananda’s behalf in the hope of averting the scandal.
Besides India, Nithyananda has followers in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Singapore.

The woman, a mother-of-four known as Rajeswari, was two months pregnant.
According to the daily, she had either died of excessive bleeding or from lack of oxygen during the operation.
Rajeswari, 35, was earlier accompanied by her husband to the clinic at 9.40am on Saturday.
Her husband received a call at about 2pm informing him that his wife had died.
